Explore the exquisite Balinese countryside with your own private driver for a 10-hour day tour. Choose from one of BaliCab’s recommended tour concepts or choose your own adventure and plan a schedule with your driver upon being collected from your hotel.
Our experience started from Ubud where we shared our ‘wish list’ of stops with driver, Kedek. The itinerary included a coffee plantation, Tegallalang Rice Terraces, monkeys, and active volcano Mount Batur. Like most BaliCab drivers, Kedek is a licensed tour guide and visited some locations, like the rice terraces, with us while allowing us to explore others at our own pace. Our day turned into a collaboration between our wish list and Kedek’s expertise as he led us to the best undiscovered locations, including a secluded lakefront temple.

Who Will Like Self-Directed Tour of Bali
Food Connoisseur
Visit a traditional market in Ubud or Klungkung to sample the flavors of Bali, from fresh fruits and vegetables to aromatic herbs and spices. Ask your driver to recommend a local warung for lunch to try authentic Balinese dishes.
Culture Buff
Venture to eastern Bali to see one of the island’s most sacred temples, Pura Goa Lawah, or the Bat Cave Temple, and visit once of the few remaining traditional villages at Tenganan Pegringsingan. Alternatively, visit Uluwatu temple in time for the evening Kecak dance. Along the way, ask your driver to stop at nearby rice fields. If you’re lucky, you may get to see Balinese rice farmers hard at work.
Nature Lover
Drive through Bali’s lush rainforest on your way to visit gushing waterfalls, soaring volcanoes, and secluded beaches. Keep an eye out for playful monkeys along the side of the road.
Bucketlist Bandit
Hit the road early to visit Lempuyang Temple, also known as the Gates of Heaven, to get an Instagram-worthy photo. Keep in mind that the long journey there and back will likely consume the majority of your allocated 10 hours.
Nature Lover
Explore the scenic sites of East Bali like the Taman Ujung water palace and ancient capital, Taman Kertha Gosa. Ask your driver to stop to photograph traditional salt farmers, rice farmers, or wild monkeys along the way.
