KAAN Show

A live, theatrical show combining acting, dance, acrobatics, cinema and state-of-the-art effects like robotics. The story follows a boy named Kaan and his monkey-like friend "Gabilpuksa" as they travel through scenes from Thai folklore including Ramayana, and the defeat of the underwater kingdom.

The cast of 100+ performers wow the audience with aerial acrobatics, martial arts, fire dancing, lifts and flips, and choreography incorporating props like bubbles, water, puppets, moving vehicles, and flowing fabrics. The large movie screen backdrop adds a 3rd dimension as performers interact with the movie-like background. One scene plays a dangerous storm while the actors skilfully navigate crashing waves, another portrays an attacking dragon which the actors fight and eventually defeat.

The combination of talented performers, skilful choreography, complex props, and visual effects creates an exciting performance not to be missed.

Singha Corporation's KAAN Show Pattaya opened to the public in 2017, performing nightly shows at D'luck Cinematic Theatre. The 1,500 m2 theatre seats 1,400 people per show, in 4 seating zones and features a movie screen the height of a 4-story building. Prior to opening, the show creators, production team and cast spent 3 years creating visual effects and mechanics and 2 years rehearsing.

The storyline follows a boy named Kaan who falls asleep while reading Thai literature in a library and is magically transported to a mystical dimension where ancient folklore stories and characters come to life. The performance travels through literature stories as Kaan and his monkey sidekick "Gabilpuksa" try to find a way home.
