Several picnic tables and barbeques are located within the large grassed area adjacent to the main carpark. Alternatively, Shaana Café and Restaurant sells takeaway meals like hamburgers and hot and cold drinks, and is open for sitdown service for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The café is closed during winter months.

Backstory

Yallingup means "place of caves" in the language of the indigenous Wardandi people. The beach is now one of the most popular surfing beaches in Australia and is considered a go-to spot for professional surfers perfecting their skills. It’s also a favorite location for weddings and honeymooners. 

Etiquette

Do:
  • Clear picnic tables and barbecues after use. Leave the area clean for the next visitors.
  • Keep dogs on leads  and clean up after them.
Don't:
  • Litter. There are plenty of garbage bins around.
