Tree Monkey's Thai cuisine is only made better by the homey outdoor dining area set on a wooden deck with clear views over the Malacca Strait. Perched high on a hilltop, the restaurant's name was inspired by the inquisitive Dusky Leaf Monkeys home to the tall trees surrounding the restaurant. Lucky diners may see some of these friendly monkeys on their way down the steep exit ramp.

Backstory
Tree Monkey opened in 2010 within the grounds of popular tourist attraction, Tropical Spice Garden. It was named after the Dusky Leaf monkeys who roam in the nearby trees and are frequently spotted by restaurant guests. The alfresco dining area can seat 50 people while indoors has a maximum capacity of 30.
