Siam Paragon

One of Bangkok's largest and most popular shopping malls, located within the historical district of Siam. This sprawling mega mall features 9 levels of stores covering local and international clothing brands, accessories, precious jewellery, technology, homewares, hair salons, nail salons, toys, luxury cars, and more. Well-known brands at Siam Paragon include Chanel, Cartier, Dior, Gucci, Jimmy Choo, H&M, Zara, and Thomas Sabo.

Don't feel like shopping? There's still plenty of things to do at Siam Paragon including a large cinema, kids' play centre, bowling alley, and even an aquarium. The ground floor is dedicated to food with dozens of dining options to refuel between bouts of shopping. Choose between fast food, international cuisines, traditional Thai food, or fine dining restaurants. With 2 giant adjacent malls (Siam Center and Siam Discovery), big spenders could easily devote an entire day in Siam shopping up a storm!

Backstory

Although "Siam" is not an official district of Bangkok, the area referred to as "Siam" by locals is considered to be the heart of Bangkok, as it was home to a Royal Palace, Sa Pathum, during the 1800s. A large portion of the area's land is still owned by the royal family.

The land which now houses Siam Paragon was originally the parklands of the Sa Pathum Palace, then the Siam Intercontinental Hotel. The mall was constructed following the hotel's demolition in 2002. The land is under a 30-year lease from the Crown Property Bureau.
