Backstory
Sunrise Tacos Mexican Grill was founded in 2007 by American Greg Lange who noticed a lack of quality Mexican eateries in Bangkok. Lange identified sub-par tortillas as a key issue amongst competitors, so set out on a mission to establish a quality Mexican restaurant that serves real corn tortillas.
The chain now employs over 185 staff in over 10 locations across Thailand. All branches serve recipes created by executive chef, Chef Luis and Chef Ezequiel, both originally from Mexico.
In 2019, Sunrise Tacos extended its customer base by including more options for vegetarians and vegans, even trialing plant-based meat, cheese, and sour cream alternatives at some locations.
