One of the Margaret River region's most beloved vineyards, producing over 25 varieties of wine. Visit the cellar door to sample award-winning versions of Margaret River's famed Cabernet Sauvignon as well as Chardonnay, Chenin, Shiraz, and Marlborough varieties, to name a few.
For your next anniversary or special occasion, don't go past Hay Shed Hill's "museum release" wines and Spanish-style Shiraz Tempranillo. These wines sadly aren't available for tasting but are worth the extra price tag.
Hay Shed Hill is one of the few vineyards in the region to include a restaurant, having partnered with Rockingham's Rustico Tapas Bar. Group wine tours and solo visitors alike call in to the vineyard at lunch time to indulge in Spanish influenced tapas… after enjoying a free wine tasting at the cellar door, of course!

Backstory
The first vines on this former WWI-era dairy farm were planted in 1973. The original homestead (farm house) is still in use albeit renovated to modern standards. The original wines were made and sold from a converted shed formerly used to store hay for dairy cows. Since then, the vineyard's ownership has changed hands several times, each owner continuing the tradition of labelling certain wines after the hay shed on the hill.
In 2016, Hay Shed Hill joined with the award-winning Rustico Tapas Bar in Rockingham in opening a new branch of the Tapas restaurant on the vineyard grounds, replacing the former Hay Shed Hill Cafe & Deli.
